There are thousands of senior citizens and adult family caregivers across the United States that would love to attend a local health fair but are not able to do so for one reason or another.

Each year there are millions of seniors and adult family caregivers that attend local health fairs within their local communities. Health and Elder Care professionals designate a portion of their yearly marketing budgets to attend these health fairs and find it quite valuable to get that ‘face to face' time with families in their service area.

There are thousands of senior citizens and adult family caregivers across the United States that would love to attend a local health fair but are not able to do so for one reason or another. The timing of the event is not conducive to their schedule, home bound seniors, those with mobility issues, and so forth.

Recognizing that time and resources are stretched to the limits these days - both for the consumer and for the health and elder care professional - Senior Approved Services has just announced plans for their first Health Fair ~ In a Box event.

Seniors and family caregivers can sign up to receive a box, free of charge, sent directly from Senior Approved Services. The box will be packed full of information, resources, valuable coupons and gifts from all of the local services within their community that have a proven record of quality care. Seniors will find information about in home care services, senior housing options, elder-law attorneys, elder financial planning, handyman services, nursing, assisted living and much more!

"Through our ongoing research and survey processes we know that an average senior citizen will be in need of at least five different types of services during their aging years," states Barbara Mascio, founder of Senior Approved Services.

Businesses serving the senior population that are Certified Senior Approved will participate in this valuable direct target marketing campaign at no fee. Senior Approved Services has just over 7,000 families currently within their database, which represents families they have served since 2003. Additionally, there are seniors signing up now specifically for the Health Fair ~ In a Box.

Naturally, a local business serving one particular community will not want their brochures sent to all 7,000 + families. If the business has one service area, then their information is only sent to that targeted market.

The target date for this mass mailing has not been set but Mascio stated that she believes it will take place in September of this year referring to the fact that she wanted to give more seniors and also more elder care businesses the opportunity to sign up.

Seniors will receive box full of information, resources and products that are all Certified Senior Approved. This means that each business represented has proof of a consistent quality of service and is indeed a safe reliable company to contract with.
