A Disciple (What is it?)

A willingness to learn, communication back and forth with

adult to adult conversation.

Broken communication patterns indicate the beginning of a

declining and failing relationship. Once animosity starts,

it always continues to increase, unless serious two-way

reconciliation resolves the issues at hand.

"When the student is ready, the teacher will appear."

This quote has always been accurate in my life.

The important thing to realize is "Did you acknowledge

the *Timing* of it all, AND are you still in relationship/

discipleship with them today?"

I have been blessed in my life to *trust* that when a

mentor approached my life, I embraced them, turned

on the Ed Hirsch charm, and fortunately, influenced them

to *love me* enough to begin and sustain long-term

relationship.

"That special secret lived somewhere in a vast expanse of

unexplored knowledge - what I've learned to call what you

don't know that you don't know." -- John Milton Fogg

I am a Disciple to:

1) The Bible

2) My Spiritual leader and his wife

3) 2 Traditional Business Associates and 1 Network Marketing

There are numerous musical influences who have discipled

me through their lyrics as I have come of age as well as

many very wise and learned mentors from books I've read and

people I have known (know).

I keep open and jot down flashes of wisdom that pop in my

mind as I intentionally filter the Do's and Don'ts on my

path along Life's purpose.

If you check the Dictionary, *Disciple* means one who

accepts and assists in spreading the doctrines of another.

To me, your personal Discipline (any connection with

Disciple?) in all the areas of life is in direct relation to

how much you love/care for yourself and your commitment to

accomplish/fulfill your true purpose in this life time.

Be careful, trust your gut and DO NOT allow yourself to fall

victim to the *blind leading the blind.* I see this awful

circumstance occur too often. My analogy to this experience

is influenced by Bruce Springsteen's *Badlands* where in my

interpretation Bruce refers to one of the *Prices* we must

pay for success is to *Let the Broken Hearts stand* from his

Darkness On The Edge Of Town 1978.

The more you learn, the more you earn ... so learn alot!
