We get up every morning, atleast five days a week and go to work. The lucky ones only work an 8 hour shift, the rest of us work 10 to 14 hours a day.
I have an important question to ask you. Be honest with yourself. When you get home from work are you really home or are you still thinking about work? Please,one more question. With 8 to 14 hours spent at work and 1 or 2 hours thinking about work (unwinding) or doing take home work, cooking dinner, and getting our kids ready for bed. How much quality time are we really spending with our family and friends?
What would you do if you did not have to spend 8 to 14 hours at work? What would you be doing? Helping your children with homework, spending some much needed time with your spouse, or maybe getting back a childhood that you never had the opportunity to develop.
I am sure we can agree that the statements that I made above are accurate. We all collectively know it, but what can we do about it? The answer is clear and I might say obvious. Work for yourself; start your own business. We can not complain about something that we never intend to anything about. Remember freedom is not free. We must spend time researching, we must pick a business,and most importantly we must market our product or service. I know that sounds like a daunting task, but think about what you are already doing?
